- AKE WENNMALM
Åke Wennmalm holds MD and PhD degrees from Karolinska Institute, the medical University of Stockholm, and is registered as physician. He was professor of clinical physiology and chief physician at Sahlgrenska University in Göteborg, Sweden, between 1986 and 1995.
Between 2000 and 2009 he was environmental director at Stockholm County Council. As such he was responsible for the identification of major environmental aspects of the regional public health care businesses, as well as for establishing qualitative and quantitative targets and action programs to limit their environmental impact.
