- Dr Elina MATTILA
Research Scientist, VTT Technical Research Centre, Finland
Elina Mattila received her M.Sc.(Tech.) in electrical engineering in Tampere University of Technology, Finland, in 2004, and is currently a research scientist at VTT Technical Research Centre of Finland. Her research interests include personal health systems for health promotion and disease prevention. Her main focus is on technologies to support and empower working-age citizens in their health management, including weight management and mental wellbeing. She is currently finalizing her Ph.D. thesis on a mobile application for health promotion.
